Great tour! Our tour guide Sam had a wealth of knowledge about farming in tekapo and the local town. While you will get some photographic opportunities, this isn’t your typical touristy tour with heaps of instragramable moments. The value in this tour is what you learn about the region you’re visiting. A great must-do for any tourist visiting town. On top of what we learnt, we got to visit a little hut, drink from a stream and feed some cute farm animals too.

This tour was an unexpected delight with Sam our tour guide. We got to learn about the creative ways in which the farm is expanding into tourism. We got to see amazing views of this beautiful place from up in the mountains. The finale with little lambs running over to feed from our hands, melted the hearts of my wife and the kids.

This was an amazing tour! Sam and Steve were fantastic tour guides, and it was wonderful to learn about their farm. The views of the countryside were beautiful! I could spend multiple days talking with these guys and learning all about the complex operations involved in managing a large farm. Definitely one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip! Thank you all!!!

We were shown the farm by the son of the owner who recently finished boarding school (sorry we forgot your name 😞) He was an amazing lad, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very welcome and at home because of him. He shared with us lots of insights about the history, community and happenings of tekapo, which we really enjoyed. Thank you friend! Oh the lambs were so cute 🥹 almost took them home 🙂

Sam is an amazing guide who is not only knowledgeable but passionate about showing Tekapo farm activities to us; we covered a lot of grounds with the car and visited quite some interesting spots including sheep fields, old resting shed that had so much history and many more before returning to feed the lambs; value for money, a must visit!

Visited this charming farm where the lambs were as playful as puppies, and the horses showcased their majestic grace. Sam, our guide, was a wellspring of information, connecting us to each animal's role on the farm, especially the industrious sheep. Every query was met with enthusiasm and insight, making the experience not just a tour, but a vibrant rural education. Highly recommend!
